Challenge
- The current performance verification of batteries takes a long time since it involves manual intervention.
- Development of an automated performance testing application for testing multiple batteries simultaneously was needed.
- It was necessary to conduct multiple charging and discharging test cycles to analyze Cellwise Performance.
- It is necessary to integrate several power sources and electronic loads in order to perform an accurate performance analysis.

The test required field visits due to hardware integration,
which was a challenge due to lockdown.

Solution
- An automated battery performance verification tool was developed to perform multiple charging and discharging cycles on batteries with various specifications simultaneously.
- To meet the requirement, there was integration with electronic hardware including a power supply, electronic load and relay.
- Tests were performed on a wide variety of batteries using a highly configurable verification sequence.
IMPACT
- Improved efficiency in the battery performance verification process.
- Simultaneous verification of multiple batteries with varying capacity allowed faster release cycles.
